Creating hopeful futures for children has always been at the heart of Dr. Caitlin Miller’s calling. What began as an early dream to make a difference in children’s lives eventually found its perfect fit in pediatric dentistry. As a child, she experienced firsthand the positive, lasting impact of a wonderful pediatric dentist — and she knew she wanted to create that same sense of comfort, confidence, and lifelong health for others.
For Dr. Caitlin, pediatric dentistry is about far more than fixing teeth. It is about prevention, education, and building confidence. It is the unique opportunity to influence habits early, helping children develop routines that support their health and well-being for decades to come.
Dr. Caitlin earned her Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and completed her undergraduate studies at Clemson University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences
At Merhoff & Associates Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Caitlin believes that what truly sets the practice apart is its intentional focus on the whole-child experience. From the moment families walk through the doors, every detail is thoughtfully designed to help children feel safe, welcomed, and understood. The most rewarding part of her work is turning dental visits into experiences children actually look forward to. She loves helping kids feel brave, confident, and proud of their smiles while partnering with parents to build positive routines at home. Watching a nervous child leave with a smile is one of her favorite victories.

She works with families as part of a team, supporting each child’s growth, comfort, and healthy smile.
Dr. Caitlin and her husband, Steven, both grew up in Greensboro and are grateful to now be raising their daughter, Holland, close to the community that shaped them. Steven is an optometrist and owns his own practice in Greensboro. As a family, they love spending time along the North Carolina coast — whether relaxing on the beach or enjoying water sports on the sound. When she’s not creating confident smiles, you’ll likely find Dr. Caitlin soaking up sunshine and family time by the water.
