inspire and empower women in crisis

A non-profit organization, Tri4Life, serves to inspire and empower women in crisis. The mission: is to create a venue for God to be glorified as we use our physical health and strength to help others overcome various challenges in their lives with tremendous faith.

In 2011, Dr. Tina founded the non-profit, out of compassion for the women and children in the Winston-Salem community. Our team raised funds to support Salem Pregnancy Center, Susan G. Komen Foundation, battered women’s shelters, food banks, and Big Brothers Big Sisters through community events like the Ramblin’ Rose and other triathlons.

As a young girl, Dr. Tina benefited from Head Start and the help of other community programs. Those experiences still resonant very loudly with her today. Our organization believes it isn’t about being the first to the finish line – it’s about finding our stamina as a testament to others defeating the odds. It’s about igniting courage and faith in other women so they may find triumph rather than tragedy.

“With so many economic hardships these days, women, children, and their families suffer. If we can create a venue that allows us to be supportive in any way – even a small way – it’s worth it…we just want help that one mother out until she can get on her feet again.”
